Who we are

This website is run by Tombari Electric Ltd., operating as Tombari HVAC. We're an electrical and HVAC contractor in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

What we collect

When you send our contact form, we collect what you type into it:

• What you need help with: Electrical, Heating, Cooling or Other (required)
• Your full name (required)
• Your phone number (required)
• Your email address (optional)
• Your town, picked from a list (optional)
• Your message about the job (required)

The form also sends three technical values that say nothing about who you are: the time the page loaded, a hidden field that only spam bots fill in, and a Cloudflare Turnstile token that shows a person sent the form.

When you visit any page, your browser sends the basic information every website receives, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. Our host, Cloudflare, uses it to deliver the page.

If you email or call us instead, we get whatever you choose to tell us.

Why we collect it

• To contact you about your request. We use your details for nothing else.
• To stop spam. Before your request is passed on, your Turnstile token and IP address are checked with Cloudflare.
• To run the website. Cloudflare needs basic technical information to deliver each page.

Who we share it with

We use these outside services to run the website and handle your request:

• Our customer-management service. Your contact form details go from our server to the service where we receive and keep track of requests, and to no one else.
• Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts this website and runs Turnstile, the spam check on the contact form. It receives your IP address and browser information when you load a page, and your Turnstile token and IP address when you send the form.
• Google. Every page loads Google Tag Manager, a Google tool that can run other measurement and advertising tools. When you send the form, the website tells Google Tag Manager that a form was sent and which service you picked. It does not pass on your name, phone number, email, town or message.

We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

The website itself doesn't keep a copy of your form details. It passes them straight to our customer-management service, and its error logs never include what you typed.

We keep your request for no more than 3 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct it if it's wrong.
• Stop using it, by withdrawing your consent. If you do, we may not be able to help with your request.

To make a request, use the contact details in the next section.

Cookies

This website doesn't set cookies or save anything in your browser.

Our footer links to our Facebook and Instagram pages. Nothing from those sites loads until you click a link, and once you're there, their own privacy policies apply.
